I have a JVC GR-DVF31U which the on screen LCD display showing "REC" or any other display is gone. The sreen shows what you are filming and will show what has been filmed. Just the LCD for all of the functions is gone. I have contacted JVC and followed the steps they recomended which have not helped. The camera works and will film it is very difficult to tell when you are recording or paused. Thanks, Bob
