Can record, can show pictures while shooting, but can not play back, can not retrived by firewire connection to computer, show nothing when play back. Any suggestions?

I have this old model of SOny. The problem is that this cam: Can shoot, can show pictures while shooting, but can not play back, can not retrived by firewire connection to computer, show nothing when play back. Can someone help me to solve this problem? repair? parts replacement suggestion? thanks a lot.
