Camcorder suddenly goes to a black screen while recording
The camcorder has been working great for the last year. Now while I am recording, it will suddenly go to a black screen. It keeps recording but with black video. Sometimes the LENS CAP message comes up but the lens cap is off. If I let the camera rest, it usually will record fine for about 5 minutes then it will go to the black video screen while recordng. Could it be that ribbon that attaches from the unit to the fold out monitor?

Good Day Sir, yes, my camera goes black and records black, I reset it/do it all and still is recording in black even the the SD card, the oly thing to do is to connect the dvd player to the video input and check if the external source don't enter black. dic'09,2005 HEEEELLLLPPP !!! Gona be marry need camera working :'(

try to configure your cam corder to yoour data source , its just a matter of trial & error ^^^^^^^^^^^^^press menu button
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ajust color system
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^color system depends on your input source
