HomeTHIS CAMERA WAS IN STORAGE FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS IN MY DESK WITHOUT THE BATTERIES IN IT. AFTET PUTTING IN NEW BATTERIES THE DISPLAY IS DARK & BROWN. THE PHOTOS ON THE CHIP SHOW NORMAL BUT NEW PHOTOS ARE DARK. WHAT IS WRONG?

Sony is replacing the ccd boards on certain cameras,for free. Contact them,tell them what camera is doing,and maybe they will fix it for free.
