I have a JVC GR-D30 camcorder. I just went to use it the other day and I cannot get it to view anything. When I flip out the LCD monitor it's just blank as if the lens cap was still on. When I turn on the recorder "lens cap on" flashes for about 5 seconds. I checked the manual and it says it will do that when the cap is on, in my case it is not. The lens is clean, no condensation issues, kept in very good place (temperature wise) here in California. It will play back previously recorded stuff but will not display anything when you push record. It's frustrating because I had just used it a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect, now I turn it on and it has issues. Any help would be great! Thanks, Rob
