I just installed a new digital receiver from Bell and connected it to My JVC DD-ILA model HD-52Z575 TV via HDMI cable. Set all the parameters as described in the instruction manual. The TV recognizes the connection but I get no picture or sound just a blank screen. Bought a new high end HDMI cable but the result is the same. The power supply had been replaced in the TV a month ago.
Any thought on this problem would be appreciated

yes you had the power supply reset but when that happens, you have to reset the photo cell in the tv which shuts the HDMI off when the tv case is opened. You simply hit the sleep timer button, and then hit vid status and display at the same time, this will bring up the service menu. go to option 2. then hit power on the tv remote and allow the bulb to cool until it powers off, then unplug the tv for 30 sec. and plug it back in with the hdmi connected, and thats it!!
