Loss of video on JVC DVD/VCR Combo unit (Model#HR-XVC1U) when it gets warm (video portion turns to a Blue Screen while the audio portion is unaffected.

I own a JVC DVD/VCR Combo unit (Model#HR-XVC1U) and am having trouble with the above-described symptom - I've owned the unit since 12/02 and the extended warranty is now expired. Is there any "quick fix" for this situation or do I need to replace it? When the unit cools down the video comes back as though nothing is wrong and will stay that way for approx. 1 1/2 hrs. before the Blue Screen comes on again - any advice would be appreciated. It's performed very well outside of this, but I am disappointed that it may need potentially expensive repair work after just 3 yrs. of service. You were very helpful once before with a problem with the remote control last year and I really appreciated your quick response! Thanks.
