SONY D-CJ01 AVLS malfunction

Michael Posted Nov 05, 2005

SONY D-CJ01 AVLS function is misbehaving

I need to be able to adjust my AVLS on my SONY D-CJ01. I turned the volume down and now I am not allowed to increase the volume to alevel that is acceptable to me because the AVLS is preventing me from doing so. Where can I obtain a user's manual or advice?

This worked on an older model discman with the same issue. Hold down menu button while lowering the volume bottom all the way down until avls indicator turns off.

I also have a d-cj01, and had the unremovable AVLS problem.. I read it on the manual, and the way to toggle it on/off is by pressing the SOUND button for a couple of seconds.. hope to help good luck!
