Error codes 12, 22, 58 and 79 on Sony 42" plasma (PFM-500A3WU) What would those mean?

Hi, I don't notice any error codes appearing on the LED readout however: I have a problem with this monitor; after 3 - 4 hours of use, DVD, VHS, Cable all of the sudden the screen turns bright white with a negative image (similar to 35mm negative film). The input connections are not loose; component - BNC for DVD, S-Video/ RCA audio for VHS, Composite - BNC/ RCA audio for Cable, & RCA audio out to reciever. The audio patch is controlled by a Radio Shack audio/video switcher VHS/Cable. The speakers are connected firmly with Monster flat cable, speakers are passive (not powered) I have tried to solve the problem by turning the monitor off and unplugging it for a while then plugging it back in and turning it on. I tried the reset sequence also. I checked the status page and everything seems fine, fan, temperature etc. 6,800 hours use. This 'rebooting' sequence is somewhat a temporary solution, the symptom returns after 3 - 4 hours. The monitor is in a well ventilated area, on the stand provided. It is plugged into a Monster line conditioner for protection against spikes, RF noise etc. Could you advise? Many thanks, A.
