every DV casette that I transferred to DVD has errors on playback either scene cuts in and out or alternating red lines going across picture

I have a JVC GR-DVF21U that I used to transfer my DV to DVD when I played back the DVD they all have errors. Even when I play the tape using the input jacks on my TV I get the same type problems with alternating red lines
