Homemy disk is "protected" is there any was to "unprotect" it? I have software to recover "lost" pictures, but after the first time I put the disk in my computer, it comes up "protected disk" on the camera and my computer won't even recognize it or show the pictures. The sony web site says that "the computer" Protected the disk, but there is no other information on the subject. It is driving me crazy and I was hoping someone would have a solution or some hints for me to try.

I have found a way to restore most, if not all of the pictures!!!! There is a program out there called CD roller. I used it and got back about 80% or the pictures that I lost on my disks You can probably find it and buy it online. Good luck!!! I am having the same problem. It is very frustrating. I have all of these disks with wonderful pictures, that I can no longer look at or share. I too have had this problem and do not have a solution yet. If you find one let me know, PLEASE! Naomi |
