I had the same problem with my kp53hs10 as well.
I found a blown fuse on the power supply module. I replaced the fuse, but didnt have a slow blow fuse.
When I powered the TV up, something else blew in the power supply and it would no longer power at all.
I sent the power supply to be fixed but I still have the same problem. The TV is now dead.
Any chance I could also get the training manual?
I really dont want to spend much more money on a 5 year old TV with minor burn in.
Thanks for your time,
Michael Gentry

hey there, I can feel your pain. My set just went today, and here I am trying to find out what went wrong. As many have said, they heard a hissing noise and finally it would not turn on. Also many have said that they could hear the clicks when they plugged it in. My case is the same, with the exception when I replaced the slow blow fuse, something else on the PS blew, and now the clicks are not more.
Any ideas on where to find a replacement PS, and do you think this will solve why the tv went dead in the first place?
Regards,
Rick
