I have a problem with my jvc camcorder, gr-ax2, When I open it up to try and tape there is AF that keeps flashing. And I can't seem to tape

when i look through the lens an AF keeps flashing, and when i try to look through the lens nothing is happening , Is there something wrong with my auto focus. Please help. Judy
