Home | First message in thread | Previous messageNot for the faint of heart, but I fixed this problem by opening it up and bending all of the battery pins so they made better contact. I'm thinking that it is only the gold pins that really matter. It does however invole pretty much disassembling your camera, so don't do it if you have a warranty in force because you will invalidate it.

Simple solution ***** I have model DSC-P71 - there is a reset button on the bottom side of the camera. Using a small toothpick depress this button and the camera will be ready for use. The only other thing you need to do is set the data and time. That's it !! |
