Attempting to alleviate 'condensation' message

Good afternoon, I'm writing in reference to a message we just recently began receiving on our camcorder. When we turn on the unit, we receive the message, "Please Wait, Condensation, Operation Paused," We attempted to address the message by leaving the unit plugged in for several hours with the power on to warm the unit and alleviate any moisture in the unit (it has always been indoors). We then attempted to warm the unit using a blow dryer on low setting. We then considered powering down the unit by unplugging the charger and taking off the battery to 'reset' the camcorder. No success. In our past we owned a JVC VHS camcorder that had a sensor located on the outside of the unit that monitored 'condensation' and if this sensor became dirty or dust covered it would prevent our use of the camcorder with a similar message until we took a q-tip and cleaned the sensor. Is there something similar on this unit and if so, where may I find it? If not, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
