Sony falsely advertised this feature. There is no way on earth to connect an adapter to this camera. I called, and they told me it was a "typographic error." Bull. They knew it, and had plenty of time to fix it. So, owners of this camera are stuck having to rely on expensive battery packs in order to use their cameras.

I have contacted Sony about this, and after being on hold for about 45 minutes, they told me that the notation in the manual that indicates you can power this camera from an AC Adapter was a "typographic error." In other words, they put in the manuals that the darn thing could be powered from the wall, when they knew it was a lie.

Sorry didn´t comment the camera model, is a SONY MAVICA MVC-FD71..i know its a 12v AC-DC adapter, just tell us how to connect it to the camera.thanxs
