THE ZOOM

Mr. MRS IN 1998 I BOUGHT THIS CAMCORDER .Till last year he worked perfect .But a few months i cant work with the zoom anymore .Zooming in and out wont work with the lever .Please help me with a solution to solve this problem .I want very much to use this very good camcorder .
