Need non-essential NeedPart Number X38945101 for ICF-2001D/2010 Radio - Plastic Rear Battery Compartment Lid

I just purchased a Sony ICF 2001D Radio via Ebay. This radio is the non-North American version of the ICF 2010 (both radios are functionally the same, really) , a very popular shortwave receiver Sony made and sold for a full 18 years, from 1985 to 2003. The radio works perfectly except for a battery compartment lid (not essential, but a major cosmetic defect). I thought I could buy it easily from the Sony Parts Center in Kansas City. Yet incredibly Sony no longer makes this part according to www.sony.com/accessories email response.
