Intermittent

This is an old VHS camcorder I bought from Sears long time ago. It's working excellent. Recently, most of the time when I turn on the power, all I sêe in the view finder is just half of the scrêen, bright white, no picture. The bottom half of the scrêen is black. The next day I turn it on, it's working. I turn it off and on again, it's not working. Please help. Thanks in advance.
