Oct.2, 2005 my Sony KV-27V40 just died. It's only 7 years old. Right in the middle of America's Most Wanted - went black & no sound, no nothing. Sounds like you had the same sad experience some months ago. Can you give me some guidance what may have triggered this sudden TV death syndrome? Many thanks, G.W.
