HomeNeed help with troubleshooting issue When I turn on my TV the red light blanks 14 to 20 times before a picture appears. Once the picture appears the scrren will blank continuously for several minutes.

This symptom is usually remedied by turning the G2 control slightly clockwise. My service manual(KV-32S15) says location is RV702 on the CRT PCB. If you are a tech. you know the better answer is to rejuvenate the CRT. I have done this many times with very good results. If your set has been on for 6 hours or more every day since new, then just turning up the G2 will not be good enough. |
