HomeSony TRV230 Error code C:31:23 I have a Sony Digital 8 camera model DCR-TRV230 with a C:31:23 ERROR code. The Sony Service center flat repair rate is $269 which is more than the camera would be worth even if it was working. Is this something that can be repaired fairly easily. And cheaply? YE ha thats great tank..... This will sound strange, but what you can do is ... Turn off the camcorder, take the battery out, and smack the side of the camcorder a few times with the palm of your open hand. About 90% of the time this will work. I have left this message on other web pages, and others have had similar results....
