just installed doesn not work unless 11 pin in disconnected

I have just installed the 3303 master panel, the only way the radio can be heard is with the 11 pin ribbon disconnected from the main board, the rooms connected to connection numbers 1 & 2 can hear the radio and door bell and seem to work, however nothing else? Please help Dave
