I have a FD73 and use it all time and didn't have a problem with it until a couple of months where my pictures looked like crap no matter what I did. Just last week I started getting a message "no disk or disk error" and now getting error message 13:01 like everyone else on this site. I bought new disks and same message, I formatted them in camera, still nothing. I formatted in PC and still no change. I am a photoghapher for a local fire dept and I love this camera cause I can zoom in and stay out of everyone's way. I agree there should be a recall on these cameras. Also when i opened the disks in the PC i would notice .411 files on the disk. I was told those files weren't important. So if anyone has a cheap solution and not be greedy about what they please help us by not keeping it to yourself.
