Same Company, same error message, not all the same camera

I have been reading threw this site and noticed that we all have a Sony camera just different models and all have the same problem. I have FD73 since 1999 and use it daily. Last week while working i started getting the "error messages", you know the ones that say, disk error, no disk, and the famous C 13:01. I bought new disks and it said the same messages. I formatted them on PC, first the disks didn't want to format so i did a dos start up disk format and then a regular format and then a quick format twice to be sure. I popped in the camera and no messages so far but time will tell. I will post another next week if its still working. I think these cameras have an internal clock that tells you its time to get a new one after so many pictures. Just like cars they go bad after so many miles and you have to get new one.
