c:13:01 Format error T1 Cybershot

The error message appeared on the screen half way through a 256mb Sony pro duo card.The next morning the camera was fine so carried on taking pics. Now the message has appeared again and my honeymoon pics are not recoverable. Does anyone know how to retrieve thes. Tried chip in another camera. Tried squeezing, pulling in/out etc.DESPERATE!!
