HomeC31:40 error message on DCR-TRV310 The camera will not close with a tape in it. But it has no problem closing without a tape. I have had no problems with the camera until this. It makes a noise like it is trying to do something but just displays C31:40 on the screen. Can I fix this myself? I tried doing as the manual suggests for C31 displays -- remove the cassette and insert again, disconnect power cord and/or battery and reconnect.

This can be repaired for about $99.00.. I looked around and learned that I could not fix it on my own. It was cheaper to buy a new camera than to have it fixed. sorry. we can repair this if interested.please e-mail us.. hello, i have the same problem. how did you solve the problem? thanks |
