Could anyone suggest a solution for not being able to view the LCD on a Sony F717, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks a million.

I purchased my Sony F717 on eBay, was working fine, you could take pictures normally. The next day i was'nt able to view the LCD, or use the viewfinder. All that is visible is the menu, the LCD remains blacked out, any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much.
