White in sunlight

This camera seems to work fine except when I go outdoors and the sun is shining than it goes mostly white. I cfan still see some images but mostly its white. I tried adjusting white balance but nothing worked. Camera works good indoors fine good image but walk outside in the daytime and bam white any ideas ???
