The camcorder refuses to open to open for tapes It gives an E02 unit in safeguard mode error when swithed on

Please can you profer a solution for a JVC high resolution digital SVHSC signal processing camcorder that keeps on giving an E02 error continously.I believe it is a hardware problem cuz the problem started after a tape got jammed inside the camcorder and was removed with force.I would have sent the model numbers written at the bottom part of the camcorder but the only visible number there is SXM265USM jvc compact vhs and it was made in Malaysia.THe camera should be about 2years old now.Please help me as soon as u can.Tanks.
