here are some points 1. The disk is an 80mm vcd and not a dvd 2. wipe the disk with the white cloth provided and re-insert 3. format the disk using the setmenu 4. Use a sony disk 5. make sure the disk is shiny side down 6. The camera lense is spoilt 7. take it to the showroom and check it out
