2 year old Iart 65 in. TV wont turn on

Just the other night while watching TV, I heard a pop and the screen turned a shade of red while fading to black and the TV turned off. When I tried to turn it back on the blue light on the front (to show that it is on) was blinking and I could hear a clicking sound. Upon further examination, we realized that the sound was coming from a black box inside the back of the TV when we touched it, it stopped clicking but started again. We checked the electrical outlets and everything is fine. Help! What is wrong with our TV?
