I am not a technician, so I don't know exactly where the neck is, but I didn't see any glow anywhere in the CRTs. If there is a bad connection, does that ultimately mean I need to replace the CRT's? Thanks for your assistance.

no!!! the crt's have a neck. at the end small circuit boards attach at this point. just in front of these boards, inside the necks is where the filaments live. the orange "glow" is faint but can clearly been seen. the filament supply is usually off the flyback, or high voltage transformer. the filaments are wired in parallel. so if one goes out the other 2 stay on. if none glow then its the filament supply source. fix: you will need a service manual and know how to read it. best i can tell you. luck..............Gary |
