How ya get this dtick to work!

I was getting this 13:01 error messgae with the floppy, bought a memory stick & wha-laa, the floppy started working fine, but the stick gets a error message every time. Is my camera possessed? Whats up with this stick, it's a Sandisk Pro 256MB
