Fix for lens cap error.
I found a fix for the lens cap error on my JVC GR-DX95U camera. I removed the battery pack for three days. I placed the battery pack on the unit and after turning it on, there was no more lens cap error! Camera works like new without any problems. It might not work for everyone but it did for me.

Hi, I have the same JVC model, when I tried to power up yesterday, it kept saying the lens cap error even though the lens cap was off. Just wondering if that was the same problem you were having?
