can anyone provide articles on procedure perhaps from past electronics magazines

I have recently purchased a sony trv9e euro version by ebay not realising the dv in has been disabled I should be able to make the cable myself from plans can anyone provide me with software for code changing also can other camera remote controllers switch on record on this camera for dvin recording any information would be appreciated thanks jon
