strange behaviour of the camera after several months

Hello, after a few months the camera suddenly goes totally out of focus and the colors change to dirty yellow, all pictures are ruined. Doing a new setup doesn't solve the problem. ONLY when I do a hard reset ( pressing the tiny little switch at the bottom )and then complete the setup, everything is OK again ... This happened twice in less than 10 months. Anybody an idea what could be the reason for this? BTW: there seems to be no firmware update for this camera. Thanks Vito
