Why does my JVC GR-DX75 say "Lens Cap" and deny me a picture when the Lens Cap isn't on? It didn't do that when it was last used 2 weeks ago and functioned normally.

    I have the same problem i think.I get the lens cap warning plus the low contrast warning on the bottom middle of lcd screen which is the Picture of a head ,a mountain,and flashing with no focus or picture from lcd or viewfinder.Did you find a solution? Mick..

    Did any of you find a solution to this problem? I have the same message on my DX75 even when the cap is off.

    Hello, I have had the same problem. Almost identical to you. One day it was working OK and then I get the same problem. No video signal and the messaage "remove lens cap." Have you found any solution to this problem?
