I have the same problem with this set. What was the problem with your tv and how did you ultimately fix it?
Thanks!

Eric, Thank you.
Here is my test result.
1. I resolder the T501.
2. I removed the bad Q502, using two 100W Lamp Bulbs in series between C and E, I found the voltage at C is about 135V.
3. I insterted a new Q502, inserting a 200W lamp in series with the AC power line and disconnect the degauss coil. I found the lamp was bright as an 60W lamp.
Any suggestion ? Do I need to buy flyback ? I found it costs $14 in Electronix Online , is it useable ?
Thank you again.
Jeff
