I have the same problem with this set. What was the problem with your tv and how did you ultimately fix it? Thanks! I have this same issue. What was the problem on your set and how did you fix it? Thanks! Eric, Thank you. Here is my test result. 1. I resolder the T501. 2. I removed the bad Q502, using two 100W Lamp Bulbs in series between C and E, I found the voltage at C is about 135V. 3. I insterted a new Q502, inserting a 200W lamp in series with the AC power line and disconnect the degauss coil. I found the lamp was bright as an 60W lamp. Any suggestion ? Do I need to buy flyback ? I found it costs $14 in Electronix Online , is it useable ? Thank you again. Jeff |
