Hey JVC pals I have just had the same problem getting my cd to eject. Try this, dissconnect your negative(black) battery cable from battery, be careful not to create spark, reconnect after about 10-15 min. Problem solved(at least it was for me). -----sorry not responsible for mistakes, good luck and be safe....

Change the mode switch, part # 30321002T. Get a million of these, and know for a fact that this is the fix. BW
