Jordan- I have the same exact problem. It is a Clarion RDC634. It reads er 2 and the cartridge wont come out. I tried switching the actual player out with another one and the same thing happens. I wonder if the cartridge is bad. I think my next step will be to switch that out.
Please let me know if you find a solution!

did u fix your clarion cd player as i have same problem i have got a new one from ebay and that still come up with error if u can help pllease e mail me thanks

I cannot even get my cartridge out now. I talked to a friend who knows about this sort of thing and he says it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. But I will still shop around, if I could get it fixed for a decent price (or do it myself) I would sure like to.
