Homehas anyone had this problem..... Our video camera was working fine. We tried to use it last week and when we opened the viewfinder we had a blank screen. It keeps flashing lens cap but the lens cap is off. The audio is fine as is the playback of previously recorded tape.

yep! I have a Jvc GR-d60e with exactly the same fault,I think it may be someting to do with the lens iris being stuck closed, the electronics then interprits this as having the lens cap still in place. |
