Well, Joe, I am not the only one who has had this problem. Come to find out, I have found people all over the internet who have had the same problem with the same camera. It is a defect, and Sony wants to charge almost the same price that I paid for the camera. I talked to one girl whose camera was only 6 months old when it did the same thing that mine is doing. SOny would not replace her camera even though it was still in warrantly, because the part that is broken only has a 3 month warranty that Sony doesn't tell you about.
I just feel that SOny needs to stand behind their products. Since this product is obviously defected, then they just need to do a recall and honor their warranties. It is just common since for a company to use GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
What, DO YOU WORK FOR SONY?
