Re: DR-MV1S

I believe you may be losing AC Power to your JVC DVD/VCR and that what's causing it to start on it's own. Whenever you connect the Power Cord to an AC Outlet, the clock and tuner channels will be set automatically. "LOADING" blinks on the front display panel when the AC plug of the power cord is connected to an AC Outlet and it takes approxiamately 50 seconds for the unit to be turned on. If you are intermittently losing AC power to the unit this "LOADING" symptom will reoccur as the unit tries to reset itself. Try the unit in another AC outlet or there may actually be a problem with the power cord of the unit itself or a poor connection inside the unit. I do not work for JVC but it is recommended to connect the antenna cable to the unit before plugging it in. The clock and tuner channels are set automatically by data transmitted from one of the regular TV braodcast channels. If you use a cable box the clcok and tuner channels will have to be set manually. Hope this helps, Eric
