TV Model No. AV-21FT

When turning my TV on it shows a black screen with a blue line through it and then it turns off and the "on timer" is flashing and the TV will not turn on even when using the main button

Hi i have a JVC TV model AV-21FT i have had this TV for about 2-3 Years with no problems it was a great TV but recently it started to show lines through the screen every channel including the video channel were jumpy with the lines running through. At first tapping the TV would make the lines jump more and sometimes fix the problem. But now when i turn my TV on it shows a black screen with a blue line through the centre and then it switches off. The on timer then flashes and i cannot turn the TV on even with the main power button on the TV. I have checked that its not the wake timer settings or anything similiar. I believe it is hardware and i would like to know what could be wrong, how i might be able to fix it and if it is comlicated to fix how much do you think the charge would be? Thanks in advance to any informationg provided

wow i posted this ages ago .. dude i just didnt bother with my TV .. its sitting in my wardrobe doing nothing.. its proberly not worth fixing i didnt look into it any further i went and bought a new LG Flat screen 70cm .. after you get the bigger TVs you got a 3 year warranty.. have you taken your tv to a repairer? if so how much did they say it would cost to fix? and is your model the same as mine?
