Hey J Miller,
I was scouring the web for anyone who might be interested in a (or some) Sony DXC-950 video camera(s). Maybe you could help.
They are 4 or 5 years old but still new in the box. I don't have the equipment and cabling to properly test them but I should probably have them tested to make sure that they are in great working order as they appear.
They only price point that I have is that MSRP several years ago was $4200. Wow.
You should probably be suspicious by now but here is how I got them...I garbage picked them amoung many unopened boxes from the open dumpster by my work because I was admiring the intricate machine work of a highly sophisticated and out-dated medical imaging machine that someone scrapped.
Being the the engineer that I am, in the medical industry, they looked valuable like someone was dumping end-of-year, June 30, 2005, inventory to avoid paying taxes on the outdated machine that they scrapped.
I was amazed that I found these 8 cameras, still in the boxes and 2 more that were a little older. I loaded them up with lots of other stuff, thermal label printers for the automated hemotolgy machine in the dumpster, and went on vacation.
Well I am back from NC. First order of business was to bring by find to the Jupiter police dept to make sure that whoever dumped them didn't steal them. They all came up clean to the amazement of the police officer who laughed at me while helping me check them out.
Now I have gotem with a clean bill of health. How do I sell them. I have zero sell history on eBay so my credibility is nil.
Do you need of know anyone who might need some video cameras and some other miscellaneous video equipment? Rackmount video controller, 1 in box two not.
Tell me what you think about this crazy story and what you might be interested in.
