Jill, From the Sony manual: Setting the clock [The clock has a 12-hour digital indication]. 1. Press 'DSPL' during operation. If the POWER SELECT function is set to "ON," go to step 2. If it is set to "OFF," set to "ON," then go to setp 2. 2. Press 'DSPL' for two seconds. The hour indication flashes. To set the hour: Turn the ring surrounding the 'SOURCE' button counter-clockwise to go backward, clockwise to go forward. When the correct hour is shown, press 'SOUND.' The minute indication flashes. Set the minute indicator the same as the hour, i.e., turn the ring surrounding the 'SOURCE' button clockwise or counter-clockwise, as required. 3. When the correct time is displayed, Press 'DSPL.' The clock should now be functioning. NOTE: If the car has no accessory position on the ignition key switch, the clock cannot be set unless the power is turned on. Set the clock after turning on the radio, or after starting CD playback. If you have any other questions, let me know. Tom
