My car CD/MP3 player quit songs/unable to read sporadically.

A few days ago it started playing a song from a mp3 disc, after a minute it skipped and started on the next. After that it sometimes wont start playing a disc at all or stops in the middle of a song and is unable to play the disc att all. I would appreciate aqny help I can get. Thanks a lot:)
