Receiving a E21 on my cd player display and it won't play any cds

Hello, I hope someone can possibly help me. I have a 95 oldsmobile cutlass supreme with the manufacturer cd player in it. When i insert a cd into the cd player I get a E21 on the display and then it ejects my cd out of the player. It does this on all cds bought or made. Can you tell me what is causing this and if and how can it be fixed? Thnaks for any help.
