Bought a Stereo from a scrap yard and I need the security code for it.

I found these codes on Ebay but the people don't respond not even when I buy an item off them. I found this company that are asking £10 for the code but as I paid less than that for the stereo, I thought it was a little expensive, can anyone can help????? I know there is software out there to crack it but i cannot find it.
